Rain or shine Wych-Wood Forest Escape is the ideal location to rid yourself of stress and rejuvenate your mind, body and soul. Relax and unwind in one of our individual and secluded studio cottages set high in the hills on 140 acres of private property.

All of our "couples only" studios are tucked deep in the rainforests of the Tweed Valley on 140 acres of private property. All studios have forest views through expansive areas of glass. Ensuite bathrooms in our studios offer luxury Spa Baths and showers.

Each cabin caters for only one couple and comes complete with a fridge, microwave, electric jug, coffee percolator, all crockery, cutlery and glassware including wine glasses, all bed linen and bath towels and a gas BBQ on your private verandah. For in-house entertainment there is remote control television, video and CD player in each studio. In winter you can cuddle up in front of your cosy log fire and snuggle under your electric blanket, whilst ceiling fans and air-conditioners will keep you comfortable in summer. Our standard tariff includes a hot and cold breakfast basket delivered to your studio for each day of your stay. Where possible we use organic local produce.

Look out over the Tweed Valley rainforest to the beauty of Mt Warning and the scenic caldera with it's ever-changing colors and breath-taking sunsets. We've developed walking tracks throughout the forest so you can enjoy the abundant bird life and native wild-life including wallabies, bandicoots, echidnas, possums and if you're lucky a koala. Experience the magical sound of the forest as night closes in ~ see our glow worm colony between August and November depending on weather conditions. The sight of thousands of fire-flies through the forest at night has to be seen to be believed.
